Texas Redbud

Spring’s First Pink Signal

The Texas Redbud (Cercis canadensis var. texensis) is one of the first trees to bloom each spring, covering its bare branches with clusters of vivid pink-magenta flowers. The Texas variety is more heat and drought-tolerant than the Eastern Redbud. Alfaro Tree Sales grows Texas Redbuds at our 40-acre Atascosa nursery.
